Today on 15.08.2024, the 78th Independence Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm in Seth M.R. Jaipuria Schools Banaras. The program started with flag hoisting and national anthem. Thereafter, the senior officials of the school lit the lamp in front of Maa Sharda and paid floral tribute to the pictures of the national leaders, and took an oath to discharge their duties by releasing balloons in the air. Today, a grand celebration of Sawan Mahotsav was organized in the Shrisangam Auditorium of the campus at Padav branch of Jaipuria Schools Banaras. The formal start of the program was done by the officials by lighting lamps on the Tulsi altar and worshipping Lord Bholenath. The guests were welcomed by showering flowers, giving beautiful handmade badges and wearing colorful bangles. The purpose of the program was to make the children aware of the importance of natural and spiritual beauty of the holy month of Sawan.
