Today on 15.08.2024, the 78th Independence Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm in Seth M.R. Jaipuria Schools Banaras.
The program started with flag hoisting and national anthem. Thereafter, the senior officials of the school lit the lamp in front of Maa Sharda and paid floral tribute to the pictures of the national leaders, and took an oath to discharge their duties by releasing balloons in the air. Under the leadership of the school's head boy Abhinav Tiwari and head girl Rishika Shahi, the children saluted the flag while parading.
On the same occasion, under the cultural program, the children first gave a charming presentation of the group song by the Jaipuria Musical Band, taking a pledge "Every person of the country should have pride", after which the little children sang "Desh Ki A heart touching group dance was presented on the song “Beti”, the dance “O Desh Mere” based on the empowerment of the army filled everyone’s heart with pride, the poem based on the sacrifice and struggle of warrior woman Laxmibai in the powerful voice of Krishna Pandey made everyone emotional, student Jeevisha Sinha performed a message oriented one act play based on Geetanjali, a ramp walk based on G20 was done while introducing a glimpse of developed India, an educational drama was staged and at the end “Jaitu Janani” Sanskrit group song was presented, this song filled everyone’s heart with the feeling of patriotism.
The President of the program, Madhya Vidyalaya, Mr. Deepak Bajaj ji, inspired everyone with his inspirational thoughts and gave the message of greenery conservation while saluting developed India. While addressing the gathering, Managing Director of the school, Mr. Manoj Bajaj gave a message to the talented students of the school that how they can enhance the pride and glory of their country by following the great men.
