Seth M. R. Jaipuria Schools Banaras

  Gaurav Sen Gupta, a class eight student studying in the district's prestigious school Seth M R Jaipuria Schools, Parao branch, thrilled everyone in the audience gallery by giving a wonderful display of his swimming skills. About 642 participants from 18 divisions participated in the four-day state level swimming championship held in Siddharthnagar. This competition was divided into three categories. Swimmers of Kashi waved their flag among all the participants, in which Gaurav Sen Gupta of Jaipuria from Group B secured second place in 1500 meters freestyle with 24.54.51 minutes and third place in 200 meters butterfly stroke with 03.21.00 minutes, making his school and city proud. Bringing true the line "The feet of a child are visible only in the cradle", this young swimmer surprised the visitors of the competition with his expressions . Today on 21-6-2024, a grand event of International Yoga and Music Day was organized at Seth MR Jaipuria Schools Banaras. On one hand, yoga is beneficial for physical and mental health. Similarly, music is very beneficial for mental health. The practice of yoga keeps the body disease-free and gives peace to the mind. At the same time, the sweet tunes of music make a person stress-free and if we talk about spirituality, then music is the simplest means of attaining divine bliss. The program was inaugurated by all the senior officials of the school, following the Indian tradition, by lighting the lamp and praising the deity. Giving further direction to the program, yoga teachers Ragini Yadav and Swarnlata Tiwari made everyone aware of the benefits of yogasana and got many useful yogasanas done by the children and teachers of the school.   Today, on 16-6-2024, a grand closing ceremony of summer swimming and musical instrument training was organized. This camp was open not only for the children of our school but also for the children of Chandauli and Varanasi. In this hot sun, enjoying swimming training as well as guitar, musical drums, piano, shooting, etc., this one month flew by as if with wings and today it is moving towards its conclusion.
